About the Manitoban
The Manitoban is the official students’ newspaper of the University of Manitoba, offering in depth coverage of the issues and stories that affect the students, staff, and alumni of the University of Manitoba. First published in 1911, it is now one of the largest weekly newspapers in Winnipeg, publishing 10,000 copies of each issue and distributing to over 90 locations on the University of Manitoba campus and more than 50 other locations across Winnipeg.
