Fruit shake, on the go!

Ingredients:

1 full, chopped banana

5-6 ice cubes

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 tablespoon sugar

1-2 tablespoons cinnamon

3/4 cup milk

Directions:

This recipe makes 2-3 glasses of banana shake.

Take one banana and chop into four or five separate pieces. Place banana and ice cubes into blender.

Add milk to the mix, and then add vanilla, sugar and, finally, your preferred amount of cinnamon.

Blend until large chunks of ice cubes are broken down. Done!

If you’d like to change things up, you may add additional fruits like blueberries or strawberries to the mix, although be sure your fruit content doesn’t overpower your milk and ice. For a slightly different taste you can save the cinnamon until the shake is fully blended, then sprinkle it on top.

Feeling adventurous? Try substituting your ice cubes with a chilled cup of chai tea. This can add more dimension to the taste of your shake.

Note:

This recipe calls for one banana, which can be any varying range of ripe depending on your preferred taste. Using an overripe frozen banana works just fine.
