Key performers

At the risk of sounding like a broken record I will once again announced that, yes, Steven Stamkos continues to be one of the most productive players currently in the NHL. To think, the forward has 134 points over his last 106 games and has yet to represent Canada on the Olympic stage.

Pittsburgh captain Sidney Crosby isn’t quite ready to relinquish his title as the best Canadian hockey player, though. Not one to be outdone, Crosby is having a month to remember, putting up a total of 25 points in his last 12 games.

  1. Hi,

Just thinking, if you were to take out the players that are on their second contract (i.e. Chris Stewart, James Neal, etc) what would the bargain bin list look like? I suggest this because I think most of the overpaid are players that have somewhat justified their contracts. I do agree that they are overpaid though, just saying there seems to be an age discrepancy between the two lists.

Decent articles overall though, keep up the good work.

    Gryphs.
