Blended-entry system will allow direct admission at U of M

Faculties and schools that admit students after University 1 will now be able to accept applicants straight from high school at the University of Manitoba.

Until now, the only faculties that did so were the school of art, an agriculture program, and the faculties of music and engineering.

The University has been considering a blended-entry system, which would combine direct entry to programs as well as application after University 1 for admission to the U of M, since May 2010.
