Five questions

Five Questions is a continuing column in which we pose a different artist the same five crucial questions.

One:
The Manitoban: What substance or activity do you find produces creativity?
Matt Peters: I find going for walks [is] good. I always like moving when I’m writing songs — lots of pacing.

Two:
M: Who is your preferred teen idol? (e.g., Justin Bieber, Jonas Brothers, etc.)
M.P.: Devon Sawa. He was in Wild America with a [guy] from Steinbach.

Three:
M: What’s the most embarrassing album you’ve ever owned?
M.P.: Seven Mary Three. I was in grade eight and didn’t know any better.

Four:
M: What’s your motto?
M.P.: “Yooooouuuu’lllll find us!”

Five:
M: Animal, vegetable, or mineral?
M.P.: Vegetable. We all just became weekday vegetarians. Ted.com changed my life again, damn those people. All my vegetarian ex-girlfriends won’t believe it.

Royal Canoe’s official release party for CO OP Mode is July 3, 8 pm at the West End Cultural Centre.
