Women's hockey
The Bisons women’s hockey team was on a conference bye this past week.
Record: 8-2, second in canada west
This week: the Bisons travel to Saskatoon to play the University of Saskatchewan Huskies on Nov. 23 and 24.

Reist and Dixon named CIS Top Football Athletes for week ending Nov.11
Two members of the Bisons football team were honoured for their terrific play in the Bisons 48-5 victory over the University of Regina Rams in the Hardy Cup on Nov. 10.
Safety Bob Reist was named the CIS defence football athlete of the week. Reist had three interceptions, which he returned for 58 yards, and also added one tackle.
Kicker Scott Dixon was named the CIS special teams football athlete of the week. Dixon tied a season high with six field-goals.

AOW: Mike Howard and Sabrina Barnes named Bison Sports Athletes of the Week
Mike Howard of the football team and Sabrina Barnes of the women's volleyball team have been recognized as Bison Sports Athletes of the week for the week ending Nov. 18.
Howard had nine tackles, two forced fumbles, and a blocked punt during the Bisons' 52-20 win over the University of Western Ontario Mustangs in the Mitchell Bowl
Barnes compiled 16 kills and 22 digs as the Bisons swept two-game series on the road against the Simon Fraser University Clan.
