The Manitoban's best Bisons of the week

Kristjan Hunter, cross-country	Hunter becomes the first Bison athlete to be twice named a Best Bison of the Week. He finished first overall in the 8-km Roy Griak Invitational race on Sept. 29, out of 255 competitors. Hunter finished the race in 25:27. It is his second consecutive victory of the season.
Desiree Scott, soccer	Scott scored twice in the Bisons victory over the Saskatchewan Huskies on Sept. 30. She opened up the scoring with a goal in the 29th minute, and then put the proverbial nail in the coffin in the 57th minute. Scott now has three goals and two assists on the season.
