How safe do you feel on the Fort Garry campus?

RENEE EDWARDS Second-year University 1	In light of the recent threats made at the University of Winnipeg, how safe do you feel on the Fort Garry campus? I’m kind of in the middle, like I’m not ‘I don’t feel completely safe,’ but at the same time it’s like anything can happen. If you could change anything about campus security what would it be? [I’d like to] see more patrols . . . so you physically see them and you know that they’re here.
BETH DANIEL Second-year University 1	In light of the recent threats made at the University of Winnipeg, how safe do you feel on the Fort Garry campus? Not very, actually. There’s still that fear that it could happen here if it could happen at the U of W. If you could change anything about campus security what would it be? Probably just more people patrolling the university campus. I only see one patrol car like every two weeks.
MATTHEW PAYJECK Second-year University 1	In light of the recent threats made at the University of Winnipeg, how safe do you feel on the Fort Garry campus? To be honest with you, I don’t feel threatened. However, I don’t feel the security is tight or anything. If you could change anything about campus security what would it be? I’m not sure if there is much that can change. There’s like 20,000 students and like 20 security guards. They can’t monitor everything.
BRYCE GRYBA University 1	In light of the recent threats made at the University of Winnipeg, how safe do you feel on the Fort Garry campus? It’s very unlikely that I’m actually going to be affected by it. But in light of it, I think it’s just some childish prank to scare some people. If you could change anything about campus security what would it be? I don’t really know that much about the campus security, honestly. I don’t really see much of it.
