The Manitoban's best Bisons of the week
ROMER BAUTISTA, STAFF
Kristjan Hunter, cross-country
|
Hunter led a very strong Bisons cross-country team to a win in the team’s first meet. Hunter finished first at the Ron Pynn Invitational on Sept. 14, one of six Bisons men runners that finished in the top 10 at the meet. |
Karli Colpitts, soccer
|
Colpitts scored three of the Bisons’ four goals
over the weekend, as the U of M came out of B.C. with a two-game sweep.
She scored once in the Bisons win over Fraser Valley, then netted two
more in their victory over number-four ranked Trinity Western. |
Matt Henry, football
|
A lot of credit has to go to the Bisons offensive line, but Henry still had, by far, his best game as a member of the U of M. Henry ran for 154 yards on 27 carries for an eye-popping 5.7 yards-per-carry average and three crucial touchdowns. |
