ERIC JOHNSON, GOLF
|
Johnson did what most golfers only dream of doing — he hit a hole-in-one. Johnson aced the 152-yard eight hole at the Meadows Golf Course in Moorhead, M.N.. That shot helped the Bisons men’s golf team finish first at the Concordia Invitational. |
DESIREE SCOTT, SOCCER
|
Scott’s last minute goal against the Victoria
Vikes gave the Bisons a victory in their season opener. It was the first
time that the Bisons soccer team has defeated the Victoria Vikes in the
program’s existence. |
BOB REIST, FOOTBALL
|
Reist was a hawk on the defensive end for the Bisons football team in their victory over the UBC Thunderbirds on Saturday afternoon. Reist compiled eight tackles, and had two interceptions. |
ASHLEY FORBES, SOCCER
|
Forbes made 21 saves in her two starts this weekend,
leading her team to a weekend split with the Victoria Vikes and the UBC
Thunderbirds. Both the Vikes and Thunderbirds came into the weekend’s
action as top-10 ranked teams, and both made the Canada West playoffs
last year. |
