Toews played great in guiding the Bison men’s hockey team to a two-game sweep over the UBC Thunderbirds in the Canada West quarterfinals. In game one, he made 23 saves in the Bisons’ 6-0 shutout win and then followed that up with a 32 save performance in game two’s 4-2 decision. |
Kieran Moolchan
track and field |
Moolchan won gold in the men’s 60-metre hurdles at the Canada West track and field championships, finishing the race in 8.38 seconds. His performance helped the Bison men’s track and field squad finish first place at the meet. |
Chris Falloon
men’s hockey |
Falloon played a major part in the Bisons’ offensive explosion during their two-game sweep over the UBC Thunderbirds in the Canada West quarterfinals. Falloon had five points over the two games, which included three goals and two assists. |
