Key Bison: Meghan Ross — one goal, one assist.
Record: 18-4-2, second in Canada West, clinched a playoff berth.
Up next: the Bisons have finished the regular season in second place in the conference. They will host the University of Saskatchewan Huskies in the first round of the playoffs in a best-of-three series at the Max Bell Arena. Game one will be on Friday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. Game two will be on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 3 p.m. If necessary, game three will be on Sunday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m..

Record: 12-12-2, fourth in Canada West, clinched a playoff berth.
Up next: the Bisons play host to the University of Regina Cougars on Feb. 15 and 16. Both games will be played at the Max Bell Arena and have a scheduled start time of 7 p.m.. 

Women’s volleyball
Saturday, Feb. 9

Key Bison: Amy Matthews — 11 kills, eight defensive digs.
Sunday, Feb. 10
@ the University of Alberta Pandas

Bisons 3, Pandas 2 (20-25, 25-17, 25-17, 23-25, 15-13).
Key Bison: Ashley Voth — 17 kills, 16 defensive digs.
Record: 18-2, first in Canada West, clinched a playoff berth.Up next: the Bisons have finished the regular season in first place in the conference and have earned a bye in the first round of the playoffs. They will host the Canada West championships at the Investors Group Athletic Centre Feb. 22-23.

Men’s volleyball
The Bison men’s volleyball team was on a conference bye this past week.
Record: 7-11, eighth in Canada West
Up next: the Bisons were eliminated from playoff contention this past week when the University of Calgary Dinos defeated the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack.

Up next: the Bisons have finished the regular season in third place in the division. The will play the University of Winnipeg Wesmen in the first round of the playoffs in a best-of-three series at the Duckworth Centre. Game one will be on Thursday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. Game two will be on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. If necessary, game three will be on Sunday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m..

Record: 6-16, fourth in the Great Plains Division, eliminated from playoff contention.
Up next: the Bisons have finished the regular season in fourth place in their division.

Swimming
The Bison swim team was not in action this past week.
Up next: the Bisons’ next meet will be the Western Canadian championships, which will be held in Victoria, B.C. from Feb. 14-17.

Track and field
The Bison track and field team was not in action this past week.
Up next: the majority of the Bison track and field team will be travelling to Ames, Iowa from Feb. 15-16 to take part in the Iowa State Classic.
