Amy Matthews,
women’s volleyball |
Matthews’ play in the Bison volleyball team’s two-game sweep over the University of Saskatchewan Huskies helped push their win streak to 12 games. Matthews finished the weekend with 30 kills, four aces, 14 defensive digs, and two-and-a-half blocks. |
Leanne Kisil,
women’s hockey |
With her team needing one point to clinch a home playoff game, the Bison women’s hockey team’s captain came through with a strong effort, leading her team to two victories. Kisil finished the weekend with three points (one goal, two assists). |
Vicky Robson,
track and field |
Robson broke a Bison track and field team record at the Cargill Games with a pole vault of 3.77 metres. The old record was held by Jackie Honey, with a pole vault of 3.76 metres in 1998. Robson has qualified for the CIS track and field championships in this event. |
