Bison Sports Athletes of the Week: Ross and Ferguson

Megan Ross of the women’s hockey team and Quin Ferguson from the track and field team have been names Bison Sports Athletes of the Week for the week ending Jan. 6, 2008.

Megan Ross has six points (five goals, one assist) in two games against the UBC Thunderbirds, helping her team to two victories and a tie atop the Canada West women’s hockey standings.

Ferguson was a member of the men’s track and field team that dominated the Prairie Dual meet in Saskatoon Jan. 4-5. Individually, Ferguson captured first place in the men’s 600-metre.
