Cole Moszynski Third-year environmental earth and resources	What are your New Year’s resolutions? “Stay healthy and get in better shape. That’s about it.” What do you hope for yourself in 2008? “Travelling. I’d like to get in some travelling. See some places. Tazmania on exchange next year.” What do you think was the most important event of 2007 period? “The whole Darfur thing was pretty huge.” Who’s the most notable person of 2007? “Al Gore.”
Candice Rivet Fourth-year science	What are your New Year’s resolutions? “I don’t really have very many. I guess a small one would be to become more spiritual.” What do you hope for yourself in 2008? “That I will graduate. That I will go back to school and hopefully get another degree.” What do you think was the most important event of 2007? “Nothing I can really think of. Nothing that really stood out.” Who’s the most notable person of 2007? “I guess I would have to say personally I think Hillary Clinton. I think she’s just making a big stand and I just really like what she’s doing and I hope she can go further.”
David Syzek Fourth-year environmental studies	What are your New Year’s resolutions? “I really don’t have any.” What do you hope for yourself in 2008? “I graduate?” What do you think was the most important event of 2007? “God, I really don’t know. I was thinking good stuff. The post-Kyoto talks and Bali.” Who’s the most notable person of 2007? “Gary Doer. Some of the stuff he’s done. Environmentally. I’m an environmental student, so I kind of follow the trend, and he’s been really green this year. I guess ’cause he’s thinking it’s the last year he’s going in.”
Kammy Lagasse Second-year geology	What are your New Year’s resolutions? “To try to save money and not spend it.” What do you hope for yourself in 2008? “Umm. Geez. I’d like to win the lottery. Other than that, hopefully save up enough money to not have to work next year.” What do you think was the most important event of 2007 period? “World level? Oh my goodness. I don’t even know. Maybe like the whole Britney Spears scandal thing. That just will never end.” Who’s the most notable person of 2007? “Yep, yep, Britney Spears.”
