Now that the University of Manitoba has ranked so low in the Maclean’s
university ranking issue,
do you plan on dropping out and changing universities?

No, because I’m almost done my degree. Knowing that now however, maybe when I go back to school I might think twice about attending the U of M and pursue other options. |

Maclean’s rankings don’t really interest me. I don’t find the rankings to be very accurate or contain enough information, so I have no intentions of dropping out. |
Laura Garion
Fourth-year management |
I do not plan on dropping out because I’m almost done here. The U of M is affordable and it’s good education — I don’t really care what their magazine says to counter that because I have first-hand knowledge. |
Ogo Ogidi
Second-year science |
No, I don’t plan on dropping out at all because the fees here aren’t bad and it’s something I can handle. Seeing as I just heard the news right now, although it may not be good news, I’ll be here till the end. |

I don’t think you can evaluate a university so easily. It depends on the department, research and contacts — I am happy with my faculty the way it is. As a grad student you have to look at the big picture and I just don’t see the purpose of dropping out here because of a magazine article. |
