Bison sport athletes of the Week

Darcy Coss
Men’s basketball, guard/forward
Year: four
Hometown: Winnipeg, Man.
Faculty: arts
Coss was the Bisons’ leading scorer during the Wesmen Classic. In two games, Coss poured in 36 points, grabbed 14 rebounds, and dished out six assists.
Dana Baker
Track and field
Year: two
Hometown: Winnipeg, Man.
Faculty: University 1
Baker had two first place finishes at the Grand Prix No. 2 meet. Baker won the 60-metre hurdles event with a time of 9.35 seconds, then took first place in the long jump event with a jump of 5.31 metres.

Hometown: Rivers, Man.
Faculty: arts
van Lankvelt was named the York Excalibur Volleyball Classic tournament MVP, as he led the Bisons to a first-place finish.
Caley Miskimmin
Track and field
Year: two
Hometown: Winnipeg, Man.
Faculty: University 1
At the Prairie Dual meet in Saskatoon, Miskimmin finished first in the 60-metre dash, with a time of 7.79 seconds.
