Volume Discounts
It saves to book in bulk. Purchase multiple ads and you will receive the following discounts:
• Save 20% when you book 8 or more ads
• Save 15% when you book 3-7 ads
Important Miscellany
The Manitoban is published every Wednesday during the regular school term (September to April).
Advertising deadline is Friday 4 p.m. prior to Wednesday publication.
Preferred placement available at 10% premium.
A 50% deposit may be required of new or large volume advertisers prior to ad run. Payment from all other advertisers will be expected upon receipt of invoice, sent weekly following publication.
Ads received electronically (on floppy, zip, or through e-mail) must be MAC compatible, and must include all vital files at a resolution of 300 dpi. Acceptable programs and methods of transmitting information include Adobe InDesign 2.0, Photoshop 7.0, Illustrator 10 and their compatible programs. PDF, JPEG and TIFF formats are also acceptable provided no changes are necessary.
The Manitoban can also design your ad. Please provide a mock-up of the general look. Cost is $40/hr, and usually ranges from $20.00 to $40.00.
